By You, Me and the Light
By You, Me and the Light is an atmospheric short film illuminating the imaginations of young people.
The film was co-created in a series of performance and light art workshops with primary school-aged students with and without disability. Rawcus artists’ Sarah Walker, Rachel Edward, Nilgun Guven and Tom Doman worked with the students to devise, perform and create this delightful and intriguing film. The original soundtrack has been composed by Jethro Woodward.
By You, Me and the Light had multiple screenings at Federation Square between 17-31 December 2015 as well as a series of place based school community showings.
By You, Me and the Light has been proudly supported by Creative Victoria, The City of Port Phillip, the Lord Mayors Charitable Fund, venue partners ArtPlay and Federation Square (City of Melbourne) and the generosity of our donors.
