Forge Workshop
2024FORGE was an inclusive, participatory workshop that offered insight into the devising methods of the Rawcus company. Participants were led through a series of physical exercises, text generation tasks and creative prompts that allowed for on the floor exploration and discoveries. FORGE invited participants to work alongside members of the Rawcus Ensemble and explore themes, provocations and questions from the company’s current show in rehearsals: Interior. Rawcus Associate Artist Jethro Woodward was present and worked responsively with participants, live-mixing an aural score to create an experiential insight into fresh methods of ensemble performance making.
