It’s a rebellion parade in the middle of the city, any city.
Let’s be clear, it’s not going to work.
If the structures won’t bend, we break them, and then maybe we’re free, or maybe we’re adrift in the dark.
Come experience a mass of performers test the balance between utter freedom and well meaning constraints. Then decide for yourself what we should burn to the ground and what we should preserve.
Powerline brings together award winning ensemble Rawcus and South Gippsland’s (it’s no) drama with drummer Zachary Pidd to attempt to fit into the system.

- Powerline is primarily a visual and physical work, with a few lines of spoken text.
- There is no seating provided for Powerline. Audience are welcome to stand, sit on the ground (or their own seating), or move around.
- Powerline is performed in open public space. Audience may come and go as they please.
- The ground at each outdoor venue may be uneven (grass or cobblestone).
