Dance It Out

Project Description

Inclusive, celebratory and fun. Dance it Out is a chance to check in and get moving with other people.

Created as a response to extended lockdowns in Melbourne during 2020, Dance it Out is a digital offering of 4 x 20 minute movement sessions delivered over 4 weeks.

Bring your pets, your children or your housemates. Wear your PJs or your sequins. You don’t need to be a performer or dancer to enjoy this offering, you just need a computer or phone and an internet connection.

We say hi, we stretch, we dance, we connect.

Offerings

August 2020 – Open to all as core company offering

November 2020 – Open to all as part of Big Break at Kingston Arts

November 2020 – Fringe Club offering for families

Quote

“The Rawcus dance session are a highlight of my week – especially during lockdown where we have less options for getting out and moving ‘n grooving. But more that that is the positive energy they generate – lots of people welcomed into an activity and encouraged to join in whatever way suits them. I love it!” – August 2020 Participant
