Dear friends and supporters
We are beyond excited. We have been invited to go to the USA in early 2019 to create a new show with Marc Brew. Earlier this year we had the opportunity to undertake a creative development with Marc an acclaimed dancer and choregrapher Marc. It was an amazing experience and we want to continue this collaboration with the aim of making a new work together.
Traveling to the USA represents a massive milestone in our history as it will be the very first time the Rawcus Ensemble has had an international opportunity.
We need your help to make this dream come true for the Rawcus Ensemble members. We have been fundraising for this purpose and have been successful in securing a grant from Creative Victoria which is fantastic and will contribute to the costs. However the travel and access costs for all 15 Ensemble members are considerable and so we are asking for your help so we can offer this opportunity to everyone. Your donation will go towards the costs of airfares, disability support workers and accessible accommodation.
