Rawcus in San Fransisco
Rawcus has just returned from San Francisco where we worked with internationally renowned choreographer Marc Brew at Axis Dance Company to develop a new work.
Traveling to the USA was a massive milestone in our history. It was the first time the company has traveled overseas.
Whist in San Fransisco, we undertook a creative development with Marc, an artistic exchange with AXIS Dance Company, conducted a public workshop for San Francisco artists with and without disability and performed as guest artists at the Pomeroy Centre. It was thrilling to have the opportunity to work internationally and with international artists of such a high calibre. We are now planning to embark on another creative development with Marc in Melbourne in December 2019 and our dream is to present our new work Glass in 2020.
